The Beginning

Mohammed Zainal Faraidooni started a general trading business focused on importing and exporting food, textiles, building materials, and general commodities, laying the foundation for what would become one of the UAE’s most respected family businesses.

1958

Company Founded

The second generation joined the business, formally establishing the company and opening its first showroom dedicated to building materials, marking the beginning of our specialization in the construction sector.

1960

Partnership with Twyford Bathrooms

Our first international partnership. Appointed as the exclusive distributor of Twyford Bathrooms, one of the United Kingdom’s leading bathroom brands, marking the beginning of our long-standing partnerships with world-renowned manufacturers.

1961

Building Our Brand

Our first advertisements appeared in Dubai’s inaugural telephone directory, establishing the company’s presence during the early years of the Emirate’s development.

1967

Growing in Dubai

Opened our second showroom in Dubai, expanding our presence and strengthening our commitment to serving the growing construction market.

1972

Expansion to Abu Dhabi

Established our first showroom in Abu Dhabi, extending our footprint beyond Dubai to support the capital’s rapidly growing construction industry.

1978

Expanding Our Portfolio

Established a distribution agreement with Terrain, a pipe manufacturer from Manchester, UK, further strengthening our offering of high quality plumbing and drainage solutions.

1980

A Landmark Partnership with Grohe

Established partnership with Grohe from Germany, beginning a relationship that has grown into one of the company’s most successful and enduring strategic partnerships.

1996

Dubai Flagship Showroom, Setting New Standards

Opened a state-of-the-art flagship showroom in Dubai, redefining the customer experience with one of the region’s largest premium bathroom displays and fully designed lifestyle settings.
